Here are some pictures of the solar oven Dan used to make the yummy rhubarb-strawberry cobbler below.

One cool thing about it is that all proceeds from the sales of this particular solar oven contribute toward third-world projects. It cost us about $150. Some people buy video games or boats; Dan buys alternative-energy gadgets. Actually, he is constantly looking for ways to enable us to survive without your average power sources, so this is just part of his long-term plan.

    Erika, do you mean did the solar oven work? Yes! It was like baking a cobbler in the oven on 250 degrees for a while longer than normal. Maybe I missed your meaning. . . ?
